Hi, I’m Mandy, I have a passion for the sciences and math. I’m currently pursuing a chemical engineering degree. I grew up in Southeast Texas but moved to the Northeast to attend college. People here still make fun of my accent but I think they are the ones who sound funny.

When I’m not studying or writing for Campus Leaders, I indulge my passion for music. I play guitar and piano (a little) and sing, though mostly in the car or shower.

I don’t have the nerve to play for others just yet but I LOVE sitting and watching others playing in coffee bars and lounges. When I get the chance, I love going to New York and listening to the people playing and singing in the subway systems (there is some amazing undiscovered talent out there).

If I ever get up the nerve I may post a video of me singing and playing my guitar on here. We’ll see!
